2020年 京都芸術大学(旧:京都造形芸術大学)大学院美術工芸領域修士課程 修了
現在は京都を拠点に活動中

親密な距離関係にある2人の人物を描いた《I and You》、風景の中から色やかたちなどの要素を抽出した《a scene》の2つのシリーズを中心に絵画を制作。
絵画を構成するものの物質性や虚構性とたわむれ、具象と抽象のあいだを揺れ動くようなイメージを特徴とする。

Born in 1995 in Hyogo, currently based in Kyoto. Her work focuses on two series of paintings: I and You, which depicts two people in an intimate relationship, and a scene, which extracts elements such as color and shape from a landscape. Her work is characterized by the images that flirt with the materiality and fictionality of what constitutes a painting and oscillate between figuration and abstraction.

このサークル（世界）の未知について触れるとき、彼女はSFのような非現実性に基づく装置よりも、日々の暮らしにラッピングされた小さな秘密を媒介に接近する。それは、私たちのすぐ傍らにありながらも永遠に分からないこと。絵を描く彼女の後ろ姿を見ていると、描く彼女と描かれるキャンバスとの関係性は、ときに主導権が反転され双方向からの感情の衝突や理解を経て積み上げられる“二人”のように見えてくる。　歴史の積層の中で幾度となく繰り返される画家と作品の間に生まれるラブストーリー、「彼女の場合の物語」について、私は暫し読み進めたいと思う。

When encountering the unknowns of this circle (world), Tsuchitori approaches them through small secrets wrapped inside the daily life, rather than devices based on the unreal like in science fiction. These are things we will never understand, though they are right next to us. When I watch her painting, it seems as if the power balance between the painter and painted canvas is tipped, and that there are ‘two’ people reciprocally building emotional conflicts and understandings. The romance between artist and artwork, countlessly repeated in the mass of history. I want to take a moment to read through her version of the story.
